Red ribbon festival
The first int’l red ribbon poster festival – supported by UNAIDS CO Iran – has been inaugurated on Sunday 5th of June 2016 in Mellat Gallery & Cineplex in Park Mellat and will continue its work till 12 June 2016.

This festival started in Feb 2016 with organization of a workshop for Iranian Artists, organization of a domestic and international competition, which received more than 600 works from the Netherlands, Hungary, Poland, France, USA, Greece, Mexico, Italy, South Korea, Russian, China, Ecuador, Iraq, Switzerland, Kyrgyzstan and Iran.

The jury consisted of UNAIDS CO Iran, Ministry of Health, Payam Avaran Hamyari NGO, AIDS activists, People Living with HIV, and eminent International Artists from across the world.

The event is organized on occasion of High Level Meeting on HIV at United Nations Headquarters in New York. Through this event graphic artists from across the world demonstrated their commitment to awareness raising and reducing stigma and discrimination and renewing their solidarity with People living or affected by HIV.

The exhibition is a very good example of the impact of Art on HIV response.
